I reluctantly went to buy a pair of sandals with arch support (I have very flat feet and problems were arising) after surviving the first month of not wanting to wear them because my feet (arches) hurt, I refuse to wear anything else. I just love them! It's been 2.5 years (1 resole later) and it is now time for another pair!

On my 2nd 1/2 pair in 9 years! (I got my second pair resoled 3 years ago). These sandals are eyecatching and versatile. The toe divider provides the stability I need to use my toe muscles.

Helen shoes by Mephisto is the best sandal - hands down. I have very bad feet and I can walk for miles and miles, all day in Helen's with no problem. I own 8 pairs and am looking to buy more.

The Mephisto Helen is the BEST sandal I have ever owned and I've owned a ton of sandals. First, remember there's a break-in period, which is about one-week, but once they're broken-in you'll be saying, "these are the most expensive pair of sandals I've ever purchased, but they are worth every cent." They don't scream high fashion, but who the heck cares when your feet and back are happy; additionally, you get used to the leather piece between your toes. Don't be surprised if you look at your feet one day and you see a tan line outlining your Helen sandals--you'll be wearing them more than you think.

I bought my first pair of Mephisto at the Walking Store, because I did not like any of the styles that the Birkenstock shoes offered. I love the black patent leather one, and they feel great on my feet. Best $135.00 I have ever spent!

THIS ARE THE BEST SANDALS YOU WILL EVER PURCHASE. I have a high arch and by legs and back hurt after walking a short time. I purchased my 1st pair 2 years ago, I wear them all the time and they still look new and feel great. I just purchased another pair of Mephisto walking shoes and love then also. Yes, they are expensive but it's worth ever penny you spend. You will not believe how great your feet and legs feel when you walk.
